HAHAHAHAHAHA...this is the YR and color and me driving it...but anyway...I don't think I updated this about the whole Nannying dilemma....I told the family the truth, that I was really looking for a full time CAREER...and they completely understood and told me they would love to keep me until I found one!! How perfect is THAT? They will probably have to start looking for another Nanny in the mean time, but that it totally understandable so when I leave they will still have someone for the girls...

The Testing Times are the Times You Can Grow

OK~ I want to announce that I DID TRY calling the place for the wedding...of course...I called at 4:02...and didn*t realize they leave the office at 4. BUT THE POINT IS...I TRIED! Kind of like....

Yesterday ~ I ventured out to find the social security offices of the city to apply for a new card since mine is no where to be found...got a flat tire....BUT it was as I was pulling into the offices. So...that was bad...but good place for it. I was also very impressed with the fact that a nurse passing by {in full nursing gear} walked passed and asked if i had a jack...bc she would change my tire for me. {How sweet!} .... {i didn*t have a jack of course} OUTCOME: AAA arrived 20 minutes after i got the flat...which gave me the perfect amount of time to get in and out of the SS office...i have a full sized spare on right now...but I survived my first "incident" in DC...with ease.[?] LOL
Today ~ I met Cat for lunch in Clarendon, a really nice strip of restaurants and shops. She brought Turbo with her and after lunch we came back to
our place so I could finally show her around... Rambo and Turbo had THE best time:D

Dj should be home... well... 15 minutes ago... and we will be heading out to go find a car!! Yayyyyy!! {?} LOL

OH WAIT!...if I DO get a car on schedule...we may be coming home earlier than expected in order to drop my jetta off...We shall seeee...

DJ's update for tonight

OK, I have a free second to update everyone. Work has been good and busy, i'm still the new guy but i'm keeping up with the guys that have been doing this job for a while rather well. I made 200 hours last week which was my first week with a full team of techs, which is above average. Everyone that is around here has some crazy story about how and why they are around this area. For instance the little old 64 year old vietnamese technician I had working for me last week.....his name is Tranh, everyone calls him yaya. When I met yaya I noticed he did not have a finger on his right hand, but thought nothing of it. Turns out that back when he was younger, instead of being in the viatnamese army which is mandated, he shot off his trigger finger so that he would not be accepted and later moved to the US to have more freedom. seriously?! Some of the stories around here could be turned into a movie. OK sleep time for now and I will let Miriam update and fix my blog later.
